We can design and create your site to your specifications. All sites will be designed from a compatibility point of view, i.e. available to as many users as possible, whatever browser or computer they use, so we try to avoid any quirky mouse comets, fireworks or snow and rain as they do not work in all browsers.

We always require the client to provide the content for the site, (text and images), which can be e-mailed or posted to us. If you wish us to provide this for you, please let us know at the initial consultation as we will have to charge for providing this service. If the client provides this information, it helps them to re-enforce what they want from the site, or what they want to site to achieve for them.

Pricing

The cost of each website can vary a great deal due to the requirements of each site. As a small organisation, we would be happy to discuss this with you and arrange a tailor made estimate for you.

If you wish to arrange a complete design and hosting package together, this can be discussed at the initial consultation. Similarly, if you require an e-commerce solution, please ask for further details.

Website Maintenance

Annual Maintenance - This includes thirteen updates, as and when required over the course of a twelve month period, up to about two hours work per update, (most updates take about 1½ - 2 hours).£350 (pay for two years at the same time and save £100). Anything over this will then be £30 per update
Monthly Maintenance - Up to about two hours work, (most updates take about 1½ - 2 hours) £30
Pay as you go Maintenance - As and when you need an update. £35 per update

Anything over the standard 2 hour update is charged at £15 per hour or part thereof and will be invoiced separately.

phpBB Installation and Setup

If you have had problems in the past installing phpBB, or just don't want to have a go at it but would like a message board on your site, Delicata Designs is now in a position of being able to install and setup phpBB message boards for clients. The service includes downloading the current version, installation and configuration of the boards, even setting up the forums that you want. The cost - £75 per domain/installation

If you require any enhancements or modifications adding, the cost is £25 per modification. Obviously, a price can be agreed for the addition of multiple mods at once.

General

We will not undertake work on sites meant for illegal purposes or which are pornographic (or could be mistaken for such).

Sites are designed from the point of view of the Internet user seeking information and to load in the fastest possible time with respect to content.

Payment Terms

We require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 50% with the agreed order, PLUS the hosting costs. The remaining balance is to be paid at the time of hand-over. Payment should be made in Pounds Sterling (£)
