Hosting Solutions...
Ok, so now you have your site built, then what? Now you need to find someone with a little piece of space on the WWW for your site to sit. The companies that offer these services are called Web Hosts or Hosting Providers. They are many and varied and all offer differing services. Depending on your requirements, they can cost from nothing to over £100/month. That's where we can help, by taking some of the effort out of finding the right host for you. We DO NOT offer re-seller services, but will help you find the right host.
Chances are if you have access to the Internet, your ISP, (Internet Service Provider), will offer you some free space on the Web to host your own site. If this is all you want, no problem, we will assist you in uploading your site to your free space, (I currently use my Freeserve ISP space for developing new sites). These free services however can be quite restrictive in what they can offer. If, for example you wish to put a feedback form on your site or use scripts, your ISP's free service MAY NOT support certain ways of doing this, so you would need a host that you will pay for in order to achieve this.
Hosting Tariff
All websites designed by us will be hosted on fast, reliable webspace for a minimum period of 2 years. Why 2 years? This tends to be the minimum period for registration of a .uk domain name. Listed below are two of the most popular hosting packages we offer:
Value Host:
- Includes a FREE UK domain name Just add £7.50 per year extra for a .com, .net, .info, .biz or .org instead
- 50mb of web space included
- Includes one mailbox
- PHP4 scripting
- 1 MySQL database

- Server Side Includes
- This package must be purchased for two years
£50 for the two year duration.
Value Host PRO:
As Value Host but includes:
- 250mb of web space included
- 100 mailboxes
- 100 email forwarders
- 100 email responders
- Frontpage Extensions
- Custom error page
- Error log access
- Visitor log access
- Basic sitebuilder
- URL security
- Graphical statistics
£100 for the two year duration.
