Who Are Delicata Designs?
Since formation in 2001 and with clients from Subiton in Surrey, North Nottinghamshire and Scunthorpe to name a few, we are establishing a growing reputation in the local, (and not so local), small business market.
As a small company, comprising just two people, we pride ourselves on the personal touch that we are able to offer. John - the designer - develops the ideas and sculpts them into a workable form. Erika - the tester - ensures the designs look okay and work as they were intended.
All our designs are hand coded for that personal touch, but if you want something special, it can be done, it just may take a little longer. Our approach is to offer a personal, friendly, professional service to all. In return, all we ask is for a small piece of advertising space on your site, (and the payment of course).
If you require something different or it is a large and complex request, we can subcontract work out to a close circle of associates. These are friends and colleagues that we know and trust to offer help with difficult jobs.
Standards
This site and all sites built by Delicata Designs, conform to standards laid down by the W3C, (World Wide Web Consortium).
All the sites we create are tested personally, by us, using a cross section of Web Browsers on the Windows PC platform. We currently test using the following:
- Mozilla Firefox version 1.5
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0.2900 SP1
- Netscape versions 8.1
- Opera 8.54
As you can see, they are not all well known browsers, but people use them, so we have to make every effort to ensure that the sites we design are accessible in these browsers. Our prime objectives are to offer you a first class service and make your web site available to as many people as possible, no matter what browser they are using.
